The senior essay was quite an undertaking and it caused many u heartache. The food consisted of: chicken salad and pimiento cheese sandwiches pre pared by the home ec department; doughnuts, marshmallows, potato chips, pickles and pepsi cola. Many students returned to playing ball, while others explored and went down the nature trail. Around seven o’clock, the group prepared to leave after having an eventful and exciting trip. Over 1,000 Join Concert Group Over a thousand people have joined the Goldsboro Community Concert Association for next sea son. The last minute rush of mem berships brought total number for the 1948-49 series well over the 1000 mark. Last year’s total mem bership was a few over 700. The artist committee has met to select the artists to be presented this season. The increased amount of funds acquired has permitted a wider choice of artists to appear.
