The classes investigated the lifestyles of man during Paleolithic times and then compared and contrasted that with life of man during Neolithic times. The classes contructed and then displayed both a Paleolithic and Neolithic setting in the library show cases to depict the nature of their study. During the Paleolithic times, better known as the Old Stone Age, man was a food gatherer. He made relatively effective stone tools and/or weapons. He also lived in painted caves. Neolithic times are better known as the New Stone Age wherein man used wheels, houses were made of sticks and straws, and man used nets and canoes to fish with. They were village dwellers and made precise tools. IptawwU CM (llimqnmg, ^ttc, ROCKY MOUNT, NORTH CAROLINA 130 Howard Street Atlantic Office Supply Co. Rocky Mount, N. C.
