Athletes Added To Hall Of Fame There are only three senior ath letes graduating this year who will go down in the A. H. S. Hall of Fame. “Ikey” Williams, football ! captain and fullback, receiving honors also in basketball and base- , ball, is one of the best athletes in I the class of ’38. The other stars ' are Carl Parker and Sherman Low der, who have shown up exception ally well in three major sports for the past two years. ers with the exception of P. Wil liams, S. Lowder and Parker will be back. This leaves a team com posed of veteran goalers, includ ing P. Mann, B. Williams, Furr, Swanner, and the “subs” who were out this year. Hence the Bulldog quintet should be one of the best in many seasons. Among the girls, Sliankle, Maul din, Hatley, Carpenter, Hutchins, and Brooks will be lost by gradu ation this spring, but with the re turn of the remainder of the larg est squad ever to grace the Albe marle court, a successful season is predicted for the local sextette Compliments Of ...
