Bill Mann was high scorer with 139 points for the season, with “Tubby” Mann following a dose second with 136. Bill Furr and Jack Williams showed exceptional ability in their floor work. The prospects for next year look fine at present; however, three of the team are graduating. They are: Bill Mann, Jack Williams and Bill Hough. (Possibly Buck Mabry; nobody knows till next year). Get ting back to next year’s basketball team, Coach thinks if he can de velop Bud Auten, Max Morton, and Cred Lowder a little better so they can play with Bill Furr, Lafayette, “Hoochie” and others that are coming back, he’ll have a confer ence championship. Lafayette was pretty proud of those six points he got in the Endy game. It was more than he had gotten all year. Too bad Bill Furr didn’t get to play in that game. We are sure he would have added wonderful playing had he been cess^'fuf^s on the services of the two ^ eran pitchers. Bill Furr : “Skin” Mauldin.
