May 31, 1939 THE FULL MOON Page 5 ELEVENTH GRADE GRADUATES Motto “To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.” —Tennyson The members of the graduating class will enter many different professions and travel many dif ferent roads. But there is no field in which they cannot in dividually apply the motto they have chosen. Striving, seeking, finding, and persevering are words symbolic of the successful, fruitful life to ward which they will all aim. No battle was ever won without hard labor and earnest endeavor. No pilgrimage was ever successful without travellers giving their best efforts to try to reach their destination. If he will pursue steadily the course begun and maintain a purpose in spite of op position and discouragement, we believe every graduate will attain that goal toward which he is aim ing. —Mary Katherine East Seniors Present Three-Act Farce VIRGINIA CROWELL “Her voice was ever .soft, gentle, and low.
