Students Watch
The Inauguration
The Firestone Company of Al
bemarle installed a T.V. set in
the A.H.S. auditorium on Janu
ary 20, so that the students could
see the inauguration.
Some of the students wanted
to see the inauguration so badly,
that they planned to stay out of
school to watch it. Mr. Cashwell
decided to see if any of the local
companies would install a T.V.
set, and the Firestone Company
did.
If students had the teacher’s
permission, they were excused to
to go to the auditorium any
time to watch T.V. Television
stayed on from 11:00 o’clock to
3:00 o’clock.
