BEEKER'S BILLBOARD By BILL BEEKER Valentine’s Day is here, and love and snowballs are in the air. Some of those snowballs are kind of hard. Maybe it’s just because of the rocks you boys have been putting in them. (You know, just like the ones in my head.) “I broke my husband of biting his nails.” “How?” “I hid his teeth.” The girl who swears she has never been kissed has a right to swear. * * * “What’s your name?” “9465846.” “Is that your real name?” “Now, dat’s just me pen name.” * * I wish I were a moment In my teacher’s class. For no matter how idle moments are, They always seem to pass. * * • “I’ve got my husband to the point where he eats out of my hand.” “Saves a lot of dishwashing, doesn’t it?” PATRONIZE OUR ADVERTISERS For Happy Motoring Visit WILHELM'S ESSO 192 North Second PHONE 762 ALAMEDA THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY, FEB. 10-11-12 •The Nebraskan IB (Color by Technicolor)' With PHIL CAREY, ROBERTA HAYNES, Wallace Ford and Regis Toom'ey.
