LETTERS TO SANTA
Dear Santa,
There is very little for which
I pine;
To be a Morehead Scholar would
suit me fine.
Tommy Murrell
A radio station would be my
greatest joy;
To have of my own—not just a
toy.
Woody Durham
I’d like a peppermint candy cane
in my stocking;
Then at my door everyone would
come knocking.
Craig Caudle
There is something I need real
soon;
Some new problems to put in
Full Moon.
Mr. Braswell
Lots of new clothes to add to my
collection;
Would make this Christmas seem
like perfection.
Ann Bell
You could give me Christmas joy;
If you placed under my tree a
real cute boy.
Sue Stone
To find Keith instead of his
letter;
Nothing would suit me any
better.
Glenda Sue Honey
There is one thing for which I
croon;
Just place a “Jungle” in my
living room.
Barbara Smith
Some new water skiis would
make me ready;
For a summer of fun—me and my
steady.
Jimmy Stonestreet
Anything which does not concern
French or school
Would remind me of a summer at
the pool.
Mrs. Deese
You could really make Christmas
happy for me
If you would put a gift from Ed
ward under my tree.
Emma Lynn Morton
Solution To Quiz
After much searching one
man was found who said he
would settle the problem be
tween the three brothers. He
gave them one camel to add to
the seventeen, making a total
of eighteen. Then the first
brother got one-half or nine
camels, the second brother,
one-third or six camels, and
the third brother, one-ninth or
two camels. This only came to
a total of seventeen camels, so
the donor took his camel back.
