Xle have four visitors - four little
gold fish. Bobby Rice and Miss Callovmy
brought the. fish, Bobby has named his,
but Miss Calloway has not named hers.
Since it is almost Christmas, the
Fifth Grade has studied ’’The Sistine
Madonna," which they thought very inter
esting. It is the picture of Mary and
the Baby Jesus. Raphael painted the pict
ures He is called the most beloved of
artists. The real picture nov7 hangs in
Dresden Germany.

Christmas
Christmas Eve is almost here.
Children with the best of cheer.
Around the fireplace we are seated.
While the stories are repeated.
Then we jump into our bed.
Turn out the lights and prayers
are said,
Vfe wait for Santa Claus to come.
He brings us joy and lots of fim.

Y'Te are busy practicing our Christmas
program for Chapel. Vie are learning
much about Christmas along with our
program.

The Fourth Grade is making Christ
mas cards and posters. Some of us are
making Christmas trees, some cariels,
and others candles. Wo have fian mcJcing
them. We all made Christmas stockings.
We are going to have a Christmas tree
in our room,

Yesterday the nurse visited our
roon. She gave the tc st for tubercu
losis* Nineteen in our room took the
test. She will come back on Thursday
to look at our arms.

THE THIRD GRADE
We have morning inspection in our
room every morning to help us form
the habit of coming to school v;ith
clean hroids, faces and tooth, stock
ings, collars, shirts, and handker
chiefs. Our doctor is Johnny
Crunkleton, and the nurse is Betty
Potts.

THE SECOND GRADE
Mary Crunlcleton got her "Dont-o-
Ploma" this week.
We have two goldfish. We will name
them today. They have to be fed once
a day. Our Naturo Study Book tells us
about goldfish.
We are malcing a Christmas preisent
for our mothers and fathers.
