PARKIR Mrs* Joe Parker v;as hostess to the Woman's MissioncLry Union at the parsonage Monday afternoon, July 10th, At this meeting the Union voted to send resolutions of respect to the Biblical Record er for Mrs, Phoebe Crisp, v;ho died June 18th, Mrs, Crisp was a charter member of the Woman's Missionary Union, and a life-long subscriber to The Recorder, The hostess, assisted by little Margaret Zoollncr, served delicious refreshments. MR. AND MRS, GARRIS ENTERTAIN AT BINGO PARTY Mr, and Mrs, Arnold Garris en tertained a number of their young friends at a Bingo party Wednes day evening at their home. Brook- side Camp. Miss Bernice Durgin and Mrs* H, G. Story entertained at a two-table bridge game last Saturday eve' ning, honoring Mr, and Mrs, Frank Clark of San Mateo, Fla.Mr, and Mrs* Clark are guests of Miss Mary J. Crosby, Mr. and Mrs. S.E, Adams and fam ily of Greenwood, S.C., have taken the H, P, Dye cottage on Foreman Road for a month, Mr. and Mrs. Kingman Moore of Miami, Fla., ha.ve leased the Robt, N, Hughs cottage from July 15th through September. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. J.E, Ride out are MrS. Rideout's sister. Miss Dorothy Wright, Cincinnati, Ohio, and her brother Herbert Wright, of Newton, Miss.
