time Mars will outshine all the stars and
planets except Venus. The latter, however
rises only a short time before the sun
this month and is not in a favorable po
sition for observation. Mars is in the
constellation Capricornus and appears in
the southeastern sky around 9 P. M,
Look for Mars these clear nights. You
will be well rewarded for your trouble.

St, Joseph’s infirmary in Atlanta, is
spending some time with her aunt, Ifrs.

Fla,, are at the Hammond cottage on Spring
Street,
Mr, and Mrs, N, T, Ragland of Miami, Fla.,
are occupying their summer home on Bearpen
Mountain,
Mrs. Agnes Lundberg and her daughter,I«Iiss
June Lundberg, of Miami Beach, Fla,, are
spending some time at the Boardmcoi cottage
on Mirror ^ake.
Mr, and Mrs, Kingman Moore, of Coral Ga
bles, Fla,, and thoir daughter. Miss
Valerie, and son Townsend, who is a se
nior at the University of Pennsylvania,
are occupying the Hughs cottage on Bear
pen Mountain till October 10th, Mr, Moore
is manager of the Canada Dry Ginger Ale
interests throughout the southeast, cover
ing eight states,'

at their home at the Country Club were Mr,
and Mrs, H, L, Ferguson and daughter of
Arriving last Sunday for a visit with Mr.

Bignon cottage on Mirror Lake for the
remainder of the month.

apolis, Ind,, have been visitors in
Highlands for tho past week. Hoover is a
staff writer and photogfapher for the
Indianapolis News and the Associated
Pross in Indiana, He is also a contrib
