o’clock at the School Theatre. The public

LAW OFFICE TO OPEN HERE
Thad D, Smith, who holds a
Tennessee license to practice law
was granted a license in North
Carolina by comity, through the
State Bar Association in Raleigh
last week, Mr. 'Smith expects to
open a lav/ office here In the
very near future.
BIBLE SCHOOL AT PRESBYTERIAN
CHURCH NOW IN PROGRESS
The Bible School which has
been in progress at the Presbyte
rian church since last Monday,
with an enrollment of thirty-
three pupils, will continue for
another week.
Mr, Hubert Wardlaw of Marietta,
Ga., a student of Columbia Theo
logical Seminary, is the director,
and the teachers are the Rev,Bus
tle, Miss Lavlnia Brown and Miss
Anne Black.
RECITAL BY MUSIC PUPILS AT
SCHOOL THEATRE WEDNESDAY
Mrs, R, B. DuPree and Mrs.O.P,
Summer will present their piano
pupils in a recital next Wednes
day afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at
the school theatre. Everyone is
invited,
ZOLTAN COMPLAINS
Throughout his stay in the Su
dan, where he filmed Alexander
Korda's ’’Four Feathers", the tech
nicolor adventure drama coming to '
Highlands School Theatre through
United Artists Release, Zoltan
Korda kept cabling friends back
home that he was hot. In fact the
heat was so intense that he kept
wishing for a good old-fashionod
London fog. The lowest tempera
ture during the day was 119 de
grees, while at midnight the
thermometer dropped to a mere 100
degrees, which v;asn't Zoltan's
idea of ideal weather in any lan
guage.
