Miss Rebecca Bridgers,at her summer home on Topside Hill, Mrs, Duncan Dougall and Miss Valerie Dougall have as their guest this week, Mrs, Jamie Wotton of Athens, Ga* Mrs, Vy'otton’s son, Grigsby TVotton, of Atlanta, was a week-end guest of the Dougalls and will return this week-end to take his mother home. which will be used for the benefit of the school, Mrs. Charles J, Anderson was chairman of the entertainment com mittee, and r/Irs, Jack II, Hall, Mrs, 0. F. Sumner and ^irs, R, B, DuPree gave the piano selections for the 'Valks". Little Miss Ann Anderson won the box of candy given as a prize to the prettiest child. }!\r. and J^rs, l^^ilson gave the building free of charge for this entertainment. Mr, and lUrs. Roy Perry and son,Augustus, of Miami, Fla,, have taken one of the Davis cottages on larror Lake for tv;o weeks. The Perry family visited Dr, and Mrs. A, R, Harold last summer and were so pleased with Highlands that the fami ly vote was unanimous for another vaca tion here this summer. I'fr, and ^^rs, Felix Tfalton Jackson of Gainesville^ Fla., have rented the Vaughan cottage on Cullasaja Drive for tv/o weeks. Dr, and Mrs, J, L, Wrif^t, and Mrs. IValter Creech, and Dr, and Mrs. Ralph Simcoe, who have been occupying Johnson Cote, left Monday for a visit to Sea Island Beach before returning to their homes in Stillv/ater, Oklahoma, Mr, and Mrs, T'f, G, Thomas of Jackson ville, Fla,, have leased the Dr, Michael Hoke cottage at the Country Club. Mrs, A,E,Taylor has returned to her home in Cullowhee after a several weeks’ visit with her sister,Mrs, Meta N, Hall, and family.
