It is the ex citing story of a beautiful girl of Indo china who, because she is a half-caste, meets insurmountable barriers in her struggles to escape the Orient and seek her father's people in France, The most beautiful woman in vSaigon, she is sought by numerous influential men who could as sist in her escape but she rejects them all to become the wife of a romantic young American, portrayed by Taylor. Against lavish Oriental settings,Lady of the Tropics presents Miss Lamarr with an ideal picture for her unusual talents and exotic beauty. Throughout the tensely dramatic story are woven the mysticism and intrigue of the Orient against a back ground of on Indo-Chinese city,jungle rivers in the moonlight, ancient Cambodi an temples,pageantry and adventurous in trigue. The bear is from Kodiak Island, Alaska, and said to be the largest in this country.
