DEBBIE BRADLEY
With the mid-winter formats just around the corner, Debbie Bradley
is at her loveliest in a sweeping evening gown that would be an “eye-
catcher” at any party. The dress of American beauty red velvet is
fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves, a long bodice shirred
at the waistline. The billowing skirt, falling in folds in front, is drawn up
on each side to form a bustle across the back. With her dress she wears
matching mitts of red velvet and black satin dance slippers interlaced
with silver threads. Her jewelry consists of a lavalier of rhinestones
and matching dangle earrings, and on her finger an amethyst set into a
ring of white gold, a family heirloom.
FOLK DANCE COURSE
((Continued from page one)
was at the Cheyenne Mountain
Folk School at Colorado Springs.
Her study there was under
Lloyd Shaw, square dance au
thority. She has danced exten
sively with the ethnological
groups in New York City. She
was also a recreational director
this summer carrying exchange
students on board ship to Eu
rope and America — crossing the
Atlantic six times in all.
Miss Doris Peterson, head of
the Meredith physical education
department, also attended Chey
enne Mountain Folk School,
where she studied under Herb
Greggorsen, folk dance author
ity. Miss Peterson has about
three hundred folk dances in her
“collection” at present.
