More than ballet, it is subject to the individual dancer's in* terpretatim. For example, a pile is a more definite smt of thing than being a tree. Modem dance is an unusual artistic medium. In keeping with modern dance, the fall dance concert of the Meredith Dance Repertory Ensemble was unusual. The concert con* sisted of three dances: Sport IHusions, Appalachian Springtime and Ragged Legging. Sport Illusions is a dance choreographed by ensemble director Deborah Whelan. Spirit and personality are also prevalent in Ragged Legglns, a ' piece choreographed by Jack and Jennifer Arnold. This dance has much movement and humor. It is a dance in which the capabilities of the in dividual dpncers can be seen.
