After losing a 7 point lead in regulation time as well as juniors Robertson and Sharon Sawyer fouling out, the momentum of the game changed, with St. Andrews making a comeback. A 25-foot St. Andrews’ jump shot tied the game, sending it in overtime. With one minute gone in overtime, three of Merdith’s starters had fouled out, and the other two were taxed with four fouls each. At this point, St. Andrews took control of the game, running up a 12 point lead. Clare Lynn Brock was high scorer with 30 points (60 percent from the floor) and Sharon Sawyer finished 5-6, shooting 83 percent.
