career connections Career Focus on Accounting October 3 kicks off the fall, on- campus recniting program spon sored by the Office of Career Serv ices and Cooperative Education. Our weekly column in the Herald will focus on careers as they relate to ongoing and special services planned through our office. CAREER FOCUS: Accounting According to results from the past five graduating class follow-up surveys. Business and Industry continues to be a career area fre quently chosen by Meredith gradu ates. From those completing de grees in business at Meredith, an accounting concentration is well- represented. It seems appropriate, then, that Peat Marwick, a “Big Hght” accounting firm, should be an early recruiter on our campus.
