Tune to Meredith Network News/Urgent Notices at the top of every hour for up-to-date MCTV programming. Meredith Dance Theatre Spring Concert by Amy Bates Jumping into the pool at 7:00 in the morning will definitely wake up the Meredith Aqua Angels. ■Hie Aqua Angels practice ’three times a week for an hour to and hour and a half. They have been working hard for their upcoming performance which will be held March 21 and 22 at 8:00pm in Weatherspoon Gymnasium. The Angels have been counting out the beats to songs like “The Bare Necessities," “Chimney S^ep," “When You Wish Upon A Star" and “The Mickey Mouse Club March.” The theme of this year’s performance is A World of Disney Underwater. Ms. Carol Brown coaches the team: Amy Bates, Melissa Bowen, Mitchell Brown, Jennifer Canter, Laurie Coleman, Michelle DeGrucy, Brice Jones, Christine Richardson, Cathy Stevens, Kim Sullivan, Kim Weisenborn and Jennifer Worster. Despite Ms. Brown’s busy schedule, she has put a lot of time and effort into choreographing and organizing the performance along with the Aqua Angels, the Duke Nereidians will perform. Please join the Aqua Angels for an exciting performance in A World of Disney Underwater. Continuing its tradition of bringing high quality guest artists to Meredith, Meredith's annual spring dance concert will feature works by Tim Conboy, formerly of Dan Wagoner and Dancers and Jack Arnold, who has recently returned to the Triangle after spending three years with Pilobolus Dance Theatre. Providing an evening of diverse choreographic viewpoints, the concert will also present choreography by Meredith dance faculty members Alyson Colwell and Annie Elliott as well as a student work by Melissa Bryan, a senior dance major. Dates for the concert at March 21, 22, and 23 at 8:00pm in Jones Auditorium. Ticket prices arc S6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students.
