FROM RAY’S DESK .
As you all know, on January 7,
1982 we sent out a letter to all
employees regarding your opportunity
to sign up for an IRA (Individual
Retirement Account) which the
Federal Government now allows even
though you are covered by a company
plan. This is an excellent opportunity
for all of us to add to our retirement
planning, and in an effort to make it
more convenient, we are considering
offering the payroll deduction option
to you. This will enable you to deposit
directly to your IRA through your
payroll check. On your letter you
were given three boxes you could
check to let us know how to handle
your payroll information as it pertains to an IRA. It is most
important that you check one of these boxes and return this letter
to your Supervisor so that we can enter this information into the
computer. If you have lost your letter, contact your Supervisor
so that she can get you another. Even if you are not interested
in an IRA at this time, please complete the form and turn it in.
TO ALL EMPLOYEES,
It was a pleasant surprise to find your kind get well wishes in the last newslet
ter and to know that I was being thought of by all of you. Your thoughtfulness was
a sure cure. I sincerely appreciated this display of kindness. jhank ya’II very much,
Jeff
