DID YOU HAVE small Hallowe’eners cone to your door? Our first Hallowe*en
in Pine Knoll Shores, LeRae Kesel and Judy Salchow brought their children
to our door, and four years later we still remember what fun it was and
ow happy we were to see small children. We weren’t just a retirement

On October 28 Ray Scoggins issued a building permit to Balwade to
build 32 condominiums west of Pine Knoll Townes. These 3 bedroom, 2 bath
units will contain l800 sq. ft. each. There will be two buildings, one
behind the other parallel with the ocean. Much of the natural vegetation
on the site will be retained and the rest restored to its natural condi
tion once the construction is completed. Construction is also starting
on Coral Bay West which is west of the John Yancey across from the Reef-
stone. There will be 2^ condominiums in 1, 2, and 3 bedroom sizes,

way 70. For those of you who have moved here since, and those who have
not been to the bookstore recently, it is well worth visiting. ’ They have
an excepent assortment of both paperbacks and hard cover books, all
arranged so that it is easy to find the type of book you are looking for.
