PKS Turtle Season Moving Along As of press time for this issue of The Shoreline, four of the six turtle nests on our beaches had hatched. Volunteers were on hand to guide the turtles into the ocean when needed and then inventoried the nests afterwards to learn how successful each one was. Please see “Nearing the End of the 2018 Turtle Season” in this issue for details of each nest—and a report of a rescued Green Sea Turtle that was rehabilitated and returned to the ocean.
