LIBRARY OUTLINES The Carteret County Public Library branch, located in the Marine Resources Center building has an Syp^R PROGRAMS interesting program for children during the month of^May on successive V/ednesdays and Saturdays. The programs are not only informative and should be of interest to all ^rade school and pre-school children. The program includes: Saturday, May 1 at 1:15 p.m., storytime for grade school children will feature the film, PADDLE TO THE SEA. The film is in color and is based on the book of the same title by Hollins C. Rollings. Wednesday, May 5 at 11:00 a.m., CIRCUS BABY is the subject of the for pre-schoolers. An animal story will also be featured in the Children’s Corner of the Bogue Banks Library. Saturday, May 8 at 1:15 p.m., the story, LEGEND OF PAUL BUNYAN will be shared during the storytime for grade school children. The film of the same title will follow in the Bogue Banks Library. V/ednesday, May 12 at 11*00 a.m., Preschool Storytime will provide a variety of activities. The fingerplay activity is entitled, THE FROGS, the story, TWO LITTLE BUGS, and the film, TADPOLES T ALE. Saturday, May 15 at 1:15 p.m., a very special film, FOR LOVE OF FRE shares the importance of loving and being loved. I Wednesday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m., children will have the opportunity to sing along with the film, OVER IN THE r^EADOW. The color film is based on the book of the same title by John Langstaff with illustrations by Feodor Rojankovsky. Saturday, May 22 at 1:15 p.m., the Children’s Corner in the Bogue Banks Library will feature the story and film, LEGEND OF JOHN HENRY. Wednesday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m., little ones will delight to the film, CURL UP SMLL. A cozy feeling is emitted as animal babies are shown being protected by their caring parents. Saturday, May 29 at 1:15 p.m., an artistic and appealing film, THE GOLDEN FISH tells of a small oriental schoolboy/- who lives in Paris. This Cannes Film Festival winner will be offered during the Grade School Storytime in the Bogue Banks Library.
