Finally, Mayor Cleveland read a letter from the Department of Transportation announcing plans for the third bridge between Morehead City and Atlantic Beach. The Board agreed to support the proposal assuming further traffic studies were conducted. On September 2^, the Board held a special meeting to discuss a replacement for the Planning Board Chairman and codification of town ordinances. It was pointed out that in view of the illness of Planning Board Chairman Curt Johnson that Luke Hargroves be requested to function as acting Planning Board Chairman. NON RESIDENTS Both Pine Knolls Association and Piksco Corportatioi^ announced they are enlisting the aid of the Town’s BANNED IN PARKS police to enforce their rule against parking on theSr properties without an appropriate sticker.
