What shoidd you do firSr TfRART ATTAfir emergency squad? Should you attempt to perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)? Would you know how to perform CPR? WHAT TO DO*^ ^ The answers to these questions and much more vital information is taught by the Pine IQioU Shores Rescue Squad during its CPR classes, Qualifed instructors — certified "by the American Heart Association — are available to teach CPR to any groups of six, or more, persons. The four-hour classes will be taught at any location the partici pants wish, at the PKS Town Hall or at their home, office, motel or other meeting place, any day of the week and at any hour they desire. To start your CPR class: First, arrange with six or more family members, friends or neighbors; second, call Gil Millington (726-6819) or Joan Libby (2^7-2039)» or PKS Town Hall (247-^353) to arrange the date, time and place. Just think, you could be starting an action that will save a life. Could anything give you greater satisfaction? JOAN LIBBY and GIL MILLINGTON ------- oOo ------ The Pine Knoll Shores Garden Club and the Bogue Banks Library will jointly sponsor a series of color films featiiring the homes and life styles of eight famous Americans, E, G, Marshall will narrate the 25~ainute films which will be shown at the Marine Resources Center and will be open to the public. The series is entitled *'Great American Life Style.” The schedule follows: October 26th "Theodore Roosevelt's Sagamore Hill". Prior to the 2 p.m. film Ann Johnston, Director of Library Services, will present a 20-minute book review “Mornings on Horseback", a biography of Theodore Roosevelt by David McCullough, Nov. 23rd "Cornelius Vainderbjlt II*s The Breakers" Jan, 25th "William Randolph Hearst's San Simeon" Feb, 22nd '*Mark Twain's Hartford Home" March 28th "Thomas Edison's Glenmont" April 25th "Andrew Jackson's Hermitage" May 23rd "John Ringling's CA D'ZAN" June 27th "Will Roger's California Ranch" FIIK SERIES TO BE SHOWN
