A special course for advocates to help victims of domestic violence will be offered, beginning January 28th, and volunteers are eagerly being sought to take that course. It is sponsored by the Carteret County Family Violence Steering Committee, which, in re cent months, has been meeting regularly and organizing a program that, it is hoped, will meet the urgent needs of those violence victims. The course will be held along with a Helplint volunteer training class and one can arrange to take either or both of these classes. Pine Knoll Shores people who would like to be a part of either of these projects can call Helpline at 247-3023 and arrange to sign up.
