Millie Herbst repeated for the ladies 450+ club with a 472 and an excellent 528. Let's start off the new year with a rip roaring January and add many new names to our record books. DAVE HASULAK FROM THE P.K.S. VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT AUXILIARY In mid February we plan to have our yearly "Appreciation Dinner" for the members of the Department. As we've done before, we will extend invitations to police, rescue squad, town officials and town office personnel and their guests. This has always been a fun evening and our way of showing our sincere appreciation to these dedicated people whom we cannot do without. The Auxiliary members prepare the food, serve and see to all the necessities for the evening. Some years we've had as many as 100 guests, so you can realize the expense involved. We try not to be "nags" about asking for donations, but if you can help, would you please send your donation to our treasurer, Millie Herbst, 106 Sycamore Drive, Pine Knoll Shores, N. C. 28557. We sincerely thank you in advance. CATHY HASULAK, President There are still some fire extinguishers on hand at a cost of $8.00 each. Vern Wallace and I have them, so give us a call at either 247-4338 or 247-6491 respectively. CATHY HASULAK BOGUE BANKS LIBRARY NEWS Kick-off the new year with books and thus redeem the time!
