Page -4- The Gen Corp. in Akron, Ohio, must be a very special place to work, at least in the opinion of Norman and Kathy Trommerm because that is where they met. Norman, who worked in plastics and chemicals, and Kathy were told by a co-worker of a great place for a vacation, Bogue Banks, and after visiting the island for several years, the decision was made! Pine Knoll Shores was to be the site of their retirement home. Working by remote control from Akron along with many visits during construction, the house 3it 118 Sycamore □rive, rapidly took shape. The Trommers are doing much of the inside finishing and decoration by the "sweat of their brows", but still are enthusiastic tennis players, en joy the beach, and are taking the EMT training programs in order to join our Rescue Squad. Kathy also finds time to volunteer her computer skills at the 1ibrary. Between Kathy and Norman, there are nine children and eight grandchil dren in Ohio, Florida, Texas and Virginia, so there are many trips and when the house is fully completed, there will no doubt be many visitors coming in this direction.
