On behalf of the town of Rne Knoll Shores, Mayor Kanyha welcomed Captain Patrick Stilman and his crew, and presented him with a guide to the Crystal Coast inscribed in calligraphy by Patricia Nelson. The used property has been declared as surplus and has been released for sale. If you are interested, please contact Commission Blanchard at Town Hall. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT Commissioner Hasulak emphasized the lessons to be learned from problems experienced in Florida and Louisiana following Hunicane Andrew. Personal products such as prescription medicines and diapers should not be overiooked in preparing for evacuation. STREET NAME SIGNS Commissioner Blanchard reports that he has received many favorable comments on the new street name signs. Several street name signs have been ordered that were not included in the first order. RNANCE Commissioner Gallo reports that 7.6% of budgeted revenues have been received while 15% of budget expenditures have been distributred. Revenues from room tax and sales tax were up a little. Investments average a rate of 2.8% Tax bills should be out by September 15, and citizens are urged to pay eariy although taxes can be paid at par through January 5th.
