BEACH RENOURISHMEWT At the request of the Beach Renourishment Committee, and upon the recommendation of the Planning Board, Commissioners voted unanimously at the October meeting to apply for a major CAMA permit for beach pushing. WATER SERVICE COMMITTER At the request of Commissioner Gallo, the Board of Commissioners voted to authorize the Water Committee to engage an engineer to investigate the condition and value of the water service and make recommendations of possible alternatives for water service. The committee has met with officials from the Towns of Atlantic Beach and River Bend, and the Bogue Banks Water Company.
