Caroline in Raleigh. Neither is
married.
Their cats, Duran and Princess,
I stay in Raleigh.
Chris loves to read, knit,
garden, dance, sail and bird watch,
Jerry enjoys reading, dancing, bird
watching and sailing. They've
bought a two-seater kayak, for use
in the Sound, In Dover, DE., they
were members of a ballroom dance
club and loved it. They believe
they've found the best place.

Yanne and George Johnston and
Clarissa Johnston, live at 101
Carob Court. They bought their home
in December and moved in January 4,
1995. Yanne was born in Copenhagen,
Denmark. George was born and raised
in Cranford, NJ. Clarissa, George's
mother, has lived with them for 25
years. They lived in Yorktown, NY.
George was an agent for New York
Life Insurance, retiring in 1984.
At that time he joined his wife,
Yanne, who was a knitting machine
distributor for Brothers Knitting
^Machine Co. She also had a yarn
shop and taught all types of needle
work. She does a Danish needlework
with tiny beads which is utterly
magnificent and will take orders
for anything knitted. She is an
artist in her field.
Their son, Glen, a US Marine,
and daughter-in-law, Lola, live in
Swansboro. George's two daughters,
Debbie and Maureen, are married and
live in New York State. Maureen has
two little girls.
Clarissa is a young 98 years
old. She looks much younger than
her years. She has five great
grandchildren,
They have been coming to PKS on
vacation for twelve years. Seven
years' ago they bought a unit at
Pine Knoll Townes and came down
about four times a year. When they
finally retired, they decided to
buy this home and stay. This was
the place.
Yanne enjoys knitting, beading,
sewing, painting, dancing and loves
tennis.
George loves to cook, garden,
dance and play tennis. They have
two dogs, Heide, a German shepherd,
and Sammy, part husky and part
German shepherd.
Clarissa loves to read and watch
TV.
