FY 94-95 The Town has finished FY 94-95 with an unaudited surplus of approximately $190, 000. Commissioner Gallo complimented each Commissioner on the manner in which they handled their departmental budgets. Tax collections were at almost 100% with only three not being paid. RESOLUTION-BRIDGE INSPECTION A resolution was presented by Commissioner Kanyha for bridge inspection work by the N.C. Dept, of Transportation. The Board approved unanimously. EMERGENCY SERVICES Commissioner Schultz asked for a budget amendment of $1,000 for the Emergency Medical Service equipment repair. It was approved unanimously. He also invited interested citizens to join the EMS or the Fire Department. WATER REPORT Following Executive Session, Commissioner Musgrave made a motion that Town Attorney Kirkman file a declaratory judgement action to determine the validity of the original contract between Carolina Water Service and the Roosevelt Family and how it pertains to PKS residents.
