UPDATE REENTRY PASSES NOW! Please bring in your reentry pass to be stamped, or mail it to us with a self-addressed stamped envelope. If you have never had a blue pass, come to the Town Hall during office hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) to fill out a short information form and get your card. If you aren't in town during the week, call the Town Hall and request that we send you an application form. Passes should be obtained and updated before an evacuation is ordered. To be sure you will be able to return to check your property in case of a disaster, update now. Don't wait until a storm approaches. Once an evacuation is ordered. Town Hall will close to allow employees to evacuate. There will not be anyone there to issue or stamp passes at the last minute. The office staff are directed to issue one pass per household, to allow one vehicle to reenter Pine Knoll Shores to check for possible property damage. Please don't ask them for special favors that the staff is not authorized to give. If you have more than one vehicle, decide where you will store the pass, so that it will be available to the person returning to check your property. If there is a real disaster, it will be important to have a minimum of traffic so our police can concentrate on helping those in the most need.
