DECEMBER BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING
FY 1996-97 AUDIT
Auditor Lee Carroll presented the audit for FY 1996-97. He commended the Board for
its budget control and the healthy financial position of the Town. The Comprehensive Annual
Financial Report will now be sent to the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S.
and Canada for review for the Certificate of Excellence.
COMMISSIONER RECOGNIZED
Mayor Musgrave recognized out-going Commissioner Evan Roderick for the work he has
accomplished during his term of office. The Mayor also presented him with a gift of glasses
etched with the Town Seal.
MAYOR AND MAYOR PRO TFM
After the oaths of office were given to the newly elected Commissioners, Robert Gallo,
Ted Goetzinger and Wade Lamson, the Board elected Reese Musgrave as Mayor and Robert
Gallo as Mayor Pro Tem.
