PKS Squad #65 Commissioner Ted Goetzinger introduced Pine Knoll Shore's new Police Chief, Mary M. Muhlig to rescue squad members before our March monthly meeting. Chief Muhlig spoke briefly to the group and the members extended her a warm welcome. Fred Libby is our outstanding "committee-of-one" who researched, reported, purchased, and installed disposable suction components in each of our ambulances. The squad offers a resounding THANK YOU, FRED for his contribution. From time to time "Friends" donate money to the squad as a memorial for a special person, or a thank you for assistance in time of need. The squad unanimously decided to use this money to purchase up-dated stethoscopes for the members to carry in their jump bags. Squad #65 responded to 15 medical emergencies (1 was mutual-aid to Salter Path), and 1 medical transport in February.
