November for an
exciting trip to

AQUARIUMS
Departing from the southernmost
point of Cabo San Lucas, travelers will
spend eight leisurely days exploring
hidden bays and remote islands of this
wildlife-rich region. Sea lions, whales and
dolphins frequent the warm turquoise
waters, and Zodiac landing craft will ferry
you ashore for beachcombing and
snorkeling.
Experienced naturalists will lead
inland expeditions to explore fascinating
desert landscapes, where giant cactus
plants tower fifty feet into the air and rare
species of birds and mammals are found.
An optional four-day train adventure
through Mexico's spectacular Copper
Canyon is also available aboard the South
Orient Express, eight vintage railroad cars
restored to the original glory of a bygone
era. Dropping from 8,000 feet to sea
level, travelers view the grandeur of the
Sierra Madre Mountains from glass-domed
observation cars.
The trip runs from November 20 -
27, with the optional precruise Copper
Canyon trip November 16 - 20. For

PKS Women's Club
The Club ended the
season with a
lovely luncheon at the
Dunes Club on June 5.
Irene Doremus installed
the new officers.
Membership dues will
be accepted during the summer for the
new year, which begins in September. To
join, please mail a check for $15 made
payable to the PKS Women's Club to
Pauly Brown, 114 Cedar Road, Pine Knoll
Shores, N.C. Otherwise, the deadline for
dues will be the September meeting, to
assure that your name will be included in
the 1998-99 yearbook.
Membership is open to any woman
living in Pine Knoll Shores. The Club
promotes social, civic, and educational
interests in the community.
