Weicome New Residents Richard Page III moved into the Bogue Shores Club in November of 1997. He lives in a lovely condo. He moved here from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dick was bom in Plainfield, New Jersey. From the age of four, he grew up in Winston- Salem. He was a History Graduate from Duke University. He worked thirty years for Reynolds tobacco as Director of R & D Technical Administrative Services. He was married, now separated and has two daughters, Sarah, married to Dr. Johnathan Krom and has a two-year-old. Sarah is a Physician Assistant. The other daughter is Marjorie, married to Kevin Transore. He is with HVAC; a construction firm in Winston- Salem and Marjorie is a paralegal with Wachovia. Dick's 82 year-old mother had a summer home in Salter Path on the ocean. Hence all his vacations were spent here. She now lives in a retirement home in Winston-Salem. When he became a bachelor, he decided to live in his condo at Bogue Shores Club, which had been their summer retreat. He retired from Reynolds then went with Wake Forest University as Operations Manager for the Facilities Management department. He now works with Professional Nurse Care Inc. in Morehead City. Dick adopted a cat for company, a tiger named Oxey. Dick enjoys cooking, audio tapes, loves classical music and opera. His record and CD collection is unbelievable. He enjoys surf fishing and reading. Submitted by: Betty Lee Foulk Steplianie Kaplan moved here in October and is renting Irma Brossman's old home at 111 Teak Court. Stephanie was bom in Minneapolis, Minnesota, grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, tiien moved on to Boston, Massachusetts, where she trained to be an Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist and a Yoga Instructor. She has been practicing for eight years and does teaching of Oriental Medicine at different schools. She is in the process of working up a deal with Carteret Community College for a program. At present, Stephanie is practicing at The Light Within at the Morehead Plaza. Her specialties are artiiritis, allergies, back pain and digestive difficulties. Stephanie lived for three years in St. John, Virgin Islands, where she was the only Acupuncturist on the island. She left the Island just before a hurricane and later found out the place she lived was wiped out. She moved to Chapel Hill, and commuted once a week to Morehead with her practice and clientele. She liked it so much here, having stayed ovemight each week at a girlfriend's in Pine Knoll Shores, that she decided to move here. Stephanie enjoys tennis, biking, walking and yoga.
