PLEASE BE ADVISED - Residents with preexisting medical conditions should
seek shelter off the island early in the hurricane evacuation process. Should you
need assistance, please contact Pine Knoll Shores Fire/EMS Department
contact person "Linda Brickhouse" at "247-4353 ext. 20" prior to an evacuation
order. **Time to make sure you can locate your hurricane re-entry permit. If a
permanent re-entry permit was previously issued a replacement will cost $20.
Re-entry permits can be obtained at Town Hall, but don’t wait until the last
minute. No permits will be issued once the evacuation order is given. Proof of
residence is required.**
***PLEASE BE ADVISED*** Beginning on July 1st, the year-round schedule for
Garbage Pickup will be every Monday, Recycling Pickup every other Thursday
and Yard Waste Pickup the last Thursday of each month.
