Page 2 The Shoreline August 2004 Evacuation Assistance Requires Registration Any Pine Knoll Shores resident who will need assistance to leave Town to go to a safe refuge when a hurricane threatens needs to complete a form that will be filed with the Emergency Medical Service at the Public Safety Building on Salter Path Road. The information needed includes the name of the person, age, medical history, address, phone num ber and the destination of safe refuge. When the need arises, a date and time for transport will be scheduled by the EMS, but arrangements for ac commodations at the place of refuge are to be made Editor’s Note.... We promised we would mail these first couple of issues of the Shoreline to all of you who live out of the area. However, since there are more tiian 1500 of you, we cannot continue to do this. Send us your check made out to “Town of Pine Knoll Shores,” for $15, to Town Hall, Attn. Laurie Hasulak, 100Municipal Circle, Pine Knoll Shores, NC 28512, and you will receive the next 12 issues. by the resident being transported or by a family member. The EMS will not transport anyone more than 25 miles from Pine Knoll Shores, and all transports will be scheduled before or during a “Hurricane Watch.” Once the threat level is elevated to “Hur ricane Warning” status no transports will be sched uled. Breaking & Entry of Vehicle - A non-resident had vehicle in Memorial Park. Stolen credit card was used in Atlantic Beach and Havelock. Investigation continuing. Breaking & Entry, Larceny - Non-resident reported money and credit cards taken from room. Investigation continuing. A flasher was seen in the area of Forest Dunes on July 4. If anyone comes in contact with this subject, please call 504-4800 or 247-2474 so we can make a report. The suspect drives a white Chevy pick-up.
