Page 14 The Shoreline May 2005 Spring Book Sale Results Submitted by Bill Johnston Despite really rotten weather the book sale took in $1057.80. This was a so-so return and means that our goal for the August sale is about $ 1400. Keep bringing your used books to the library to help replenish our stock and come to the August sale to replenish yours as well. The job of setting up for the sale was accomplished in just over three hours thanks to the efforts of our volunteers. Packing and clean-up took less than two hours. You, too, can be a volunteer next time. The work isn’t hard when so many pitch in. Volunteers were Norm Beattie, Robert and Sue Warren, Ron Johnson, Marge Michael, Bill and Lois Strube, Yvette Bannen, Diane Donovan, Betsy McGibbon, Dave Finefrock, Bob and Paulette Murphy, Jane Hobson and Bill Boring, Beth and Bill Johnston, John Jones, Jane Page, Sue McKeand, Mary Heim and Billie Dowgiewicx.
