What’s up With PARC? Jean McDanal Well, it looks like weVe survived the Mayan calendar apocalypse, so I guess we can go ahead and start planning for 2013. But first, our last three events of the year—the Turkey Trot, Christmas Flotilla and Christmas Parade—were huge successes! We had over 140 people walking, running or riding their bikes on Thanksgiving morning despite the cold wind. There were 13 boats all decked out for the flotilla. Hats off to Tina and Bill Keefe for their energetic efforts for those two events. Special thanks to Kathy Furtner and the Furtner family for their support of the flotilla and also to our Santa, Frank Wallace. The parade was terrific thanks to the hard work of Darlene Smith and Jacquie Pipkin. The PARC cards are now on sale for $20. If you buy now, you will have 13 months to use them.
