2017 Kayak for the Warriors Events
Thanks to the efforts of many volunteers and the generosity of supporters, the 10th
Annual Kayak for the Warriors was another success. 109 participants came down
to the beach for the 5K run and 1-mile fun run/walk. The reception and auctions
at the NC Aquarium were well attended and everyone enjoyed food donated from
local restaurants and members of the Pine Knoll Shores Womens Club. On Saturday,
kayakers and paddleboarders participated in the signature event. Thanks to all
volunteers and especially to photographers Dan Law, Melissa Casper and Jenn Lotz
Williams who captured the events. Also, thanks to Chris Losack from Swansboro who
provided us unique views with drone photos. Featured here are a few highlights from
the events.
