Page Eight THE MILL WHISTLE August 17, 1942 9^ SJLK' * cartridge cloth POWDER BAGS Fieldcrest Goes to War How many of us know just what products our company makes for Uie use of our armed forces and govern- ernment hospitals. We all know that our company manufactures sheeting, bedspreads, hosiery, towels, blankets, pillow tubing, but what else? How about duck? Cartridge cloth? Lining cloth? Overcoating? At our New York Office, 82 Worth street, there is a very attractive and informative display of these goods. We are indebted to Mr. Hodges, our General Manager, for a set of photor graphs showing this display. Mr. Hodges wishes all of us to see those photos, and in order to make this pos sible we have mounted them on three boards-and will have them at the mill gates, in charge of the watchmen. You are going to be greatly surpris ed at the beauty and variety of our company’s products. These boards will be displayed on Monday and Tuesday, August 17 and 18, at Draper Mills, Leaksville Mills and Woolen Mills; on Wednesday and Thursday, August 19 and 20, at Finish ing Mill, Bleachery, Central Warehouse and Rayon Mill; on Friday and Mon day, August 21 and 24, at Fieldale Mills and General Office. It will be well worth your while to see “Fieldcrest Goes to Wdr,” for it is both instructive and entertaining. One of several displays depicting- products manufactured by Marshall Field and Company to aid in the war effort. Buy, Sell, Swap Found something? Lost anything?
