COMPANY^H>IC Manufacturing Division, SpT»3rr^wttli Carofiom Volume Four Monday, January 21, 1946 Number Fourteen School of Journalism To Start At Once Twenty people have signified their wish to enroll in the School of Journ alism and classes will begin this week under the direction of Otis Marlowe, graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Journalism and a former newspaper editor and publisher. All who wish to attend will meet Mr. Marlowe in the office of Mr. Larry Rich ards, Training Director, at 7:30 Thurs day evening, January 24th. At this in itial meeting plans for a definite night for holding classes will be determined. Some may wish to attend on a certain night while others will not find that particular night convenient. This will be arranged to suit everyone, insofar as possible. Don’t forget the date— January 24, 1946, at 7:30 p. m. in Mr. Richards’ office. Red is the most universally popular color, and is also the favorite color of the majority of women? Most men pre fer blue, while the most generally dis liked color is dull yellow. - In our last issue we carried a story about the newly furnislied, decorated, and enlarged show rooms of our Karastan Floor Covering department. As can be seen in the above pictures the show rooms provide space for effective display, the lights are so arranged as to bring out the beauty of color in the rugs.
