Membership Drive For 1 Girls’ Club Opens Nov. 1 The membership drive for the Girls’ Club will begin Friday, November 1, and run through Tuesday, November 12, Miss Elizabeth Everett, director, an nounced today. Two teams will take part in the campaign, the “Blues” headed by Tessie McBride, and the “Whites” head ed by Grace Shelton. Dues are one dollar for the period November 1 until May. Membership in the Girls’ Club offers girls over 14 and not enrolled in school the privilege of taking part in all the club activities plus group studies on clothing, food, how to be a good mother or daughter, and personal development. Dues for giils 12 years old and under are fifty cents. These youngsters have the use of the shower rooms and the use of the club house for meeting friends there, seeing and reading the latest magazines and newspapers, and occa sional entertainment.
