Mr. Truslow was one of the first mill superintendents in the South to adopt the multiple system of weaving and large-package spinning. Through his years with the Company he has been successful in perfecting a number of in ventions and improvements to machin ery. He said that much of the success of his improvements was due to the loyal support and full cooperation of supervisors and employees throughout the mills. He was one of the first to advocate 4-bank condensers on wool cards which would increase the number of ends de livered from 60 to 96. The machinery builders at first thought this was im practical but after a few years came out with 4-bank condensers which became standard throughout the country.
