The Harry Postons buying a home. 1,653 Employees Get Free Chest X-rays iSPi V:' Virginia Hurd is shown receiving a chest X-ray at the Rayon Mill. An X- ray survey for tuberculosis control was conducted in the Spray and Leaksville plants August 28 through September 6. A total of 1,653 Fieldcrest employees received free chest check-ups. A private report will be mailed soon by the Coun ty Health Department to each indi vidual who had a chest X-ray. The free X-ray service was provided through the joint efforts of the County Health Department, Fieldcrest Mills and the State Board of Health. Such X-ray surveys have also been conducted at the Fieldale, Va., and Draper mills within the past 12 months.
