Marshall Field & Company Pension Plan For Employee^. When do you normally retire under the Pension Plan? You are expected to retire on your Normal Retirement Date —that’s the December 1 nearest to your 65th birthday. That means: 1. If your birthday falls on any day from December 2 to June 1, inclusive, your Normal Retirement Date is the December 1 before your 65fh birthday. 2. If your birthday falls on any day from June 2 to November 30, your Normal Retirement Date is the Decem ber 1 after your 65th birthday. 3. If you were born December 1, your Normal Retirement Date is your 65th birthday. May you retire earlier than your Nor mal Retirement Date? That question will be answered here next issue. CONFIDENCE Confidence is certainty. When you have confidence in people you know they will do what you expect them to do. On confidence rests the foundation of government, the relationship of business, the bonds of friendship, and even the ties of family. To say you have confidence in a firm is to express the greatest compliment possible. It means that firm believes in and practices fair dealing; that its pro duct or service is built to a rigid stand ard of excellence; that it backs up every promise and fulfills every contract. In tegrity alone begets confidence.—Anon.
