Fieldale Bowlers In National Tourney The Fieldcrest men’s bowling team from Fieldale Y.M.C.A. is in Arlington, Va., today where the bowlers will par ticipate in the National Bowling Tour nament, The Fieldale team is composed J- S. Hundley, James Horsley, Harry ^oston, Rudolph Griggs and CuUom Soots. fijn-on Vann Named Scout Field Executive James Byron Vann has reported to the Cherokee Council Boy Scouts of Amer- ^*^3 as field scout executive and will serve the Dan River and Reidsville dis tricts. He will make his home in Leaks- '^ille. Mr. Vann is married and has two Sons. They will reside on Hamilton street. Mr. Vann is a native of Columbus, Ga,, Where he was employed by the Bibb Manufacturing company for 10 year.s, before entering the professional service pf the Boy Scouts of America. He has JUst returned from the 161st National Training School of the Boy Scouts of America at Mendham, New Jersey. In Columbus, he was a Boy Scout, having attained the rank of Eagle, and also a member of the Order of the Arrow.
