The Fieldcrest team captained by Jerry Pulliam had 71 wins and 17 loses for the season. The Ben Frank lin team, led Captain Lorraine Dillon came through with 66 wins and nine losses. Trophies were presented to 60 bowlers at the Y.M.C.A. Bowling Banquet Satur day night. Team trophies were presented the captains and Y.M.C.A. pins were awarded the individual players. Runners-up were Hatley’s Laundry, captained by Melvin Hill, and the American cafe, captained by Peggy Robertson. In presenting the awards, George Fawcett, physical director, said 12 teams with more than 100 men and women participated in the bowling leagues at Consolidated Central “Y”. FIELDCREST MILLS TEAM—Jerry Pulliam, captain; Sherman DeHart, Junior Martin, Charlie Pendergrass, Douglas Shively. Another member of the team,' Demus Meeks, was unable to be present for the photograph.
